How fixed-ratio blend math works

Each labeled component has its own concentration after reconstitution: component amount divided by the shared liquid volume. A syringe draw is simply a volume, so every component is represented in proportion to that same fraction of the vial.

component concentration = component amount ÷ BAC water mL
draw mL = U-100 units ÷ 100
component in draw = concentration × draw mL

In the formula above, U-100 units are syringe volume markings, not a universal mass or biological-activity unit.

Why the anchor mode is useful

Because all components share one fixed ratio, solving for the volume that contains a user-entered amount of one component automatically determines the amount of every other component in that same volume. The calculator shows the result without treating the entered amount as a recommendation.

What does a peptide blend calculator calculate?

It treats a pre-blended vial as several fixed-ratio components sharing the same liquid volume. From the labeled amount of each component and the BAC water volume, the calculator can determine each component's concentration and how much of every component is present in a selected draw volume.

Does adding more BAC water change the ratio between peptides?

No. In a fixed-ratio pre-blended vial, adding more liquid changes concentration and the volume needed for a given amount, but the ratio between the components remains the same.

Why do the GLOW and KLOW presets not fill vial amounts?

Named blend ratios can vary between suppliers. BACToBasics fills the commonly associated component names only and requires the exact amounts printed on the vial label rather than assuming one formulation is universal.

Can I use IU in the blend calculator?

Not in this version. IU measures biological activity and cannot be generically converted to mg or mcg across different substances. The blend calculator therefore limits component amounts to mass units only.
